Leadership & Culture Consultant @ He Māla Hou Consulting
I founded He Māla Hou to come alongside, advise, and support organizations that acknowledge the oppression that is caused by white, cis/het normative culture, and desire change. Our name directly translates to "a new garden." As we partner with teams and organizations our intention is to create a new garden where all stakeholders can grow and thrive in safe spaces for who they are. At He Māla Hou we provide the support that is needed to build a culture that attracts, engages, and retains staff - especially those that come from marginalized, underrepresented communities. Our first step is acknowledging that this is an overwhelming process. Next, we dive in with honesty and humility so you can too. Whether you already know what you need to focus on, or aren’t quite sure how to define the task at hand, He Māla Hou will co-create a plan with you that will truly make a difference. He Māla Hou (QTBIPOC owned) was created to come alongside, advise, and support organizations that acknowledge the oppression that is caused by white, cis/het normative culture, and desire change. We love venturing the PNW and taking advantage of the lush scenery, endless rivers, and beauty that resonates in its nature, businesses, and people. We are always looking for our next adventure whether that’s a new restaurant, hiking spot, or community of friends, we are down!
